Babylon.js file format exporter.2 votes
We have looked into this. It isn’t that easy. What you can do now is to export from Clara.io as FBX or Collada and then convert that into BabylonJS format.
Add Pixar's OpenSubDiv and throw out your current subdivision technique before your user base grows too large. See here: http://graphics.pixar.com/opensubdiv/0 votes
This is a good idea. We will be doing this.
In Softimage you can apply a Lattice to your geometry and move the points of your Lattice to influence the shape of your geometry.

A portable .exe format of Clara.io can be very convenient for offline users or for people living in countries with slow internet connection. Later after users' content is created, they can seamlessly *sync* or upload their content to the online version of Clara.io11 votes
This is a great idea. We will add an online mode that runs in the browser that provides this functionality. This is similar to what GMail offers.
Check for non-manifold surfaces. This again is useful for 3D printing applications.2 votes
A UV unwrap editor so one can adjust easily in 2D the texture coordinates of an object. 3DS Max and Maya have these UV unwarp editors and they are exceedingly useful when creating high quality models.8 votes
We have designed this and it’s implementation is scheduled for the next few weeks.
if object transform has keys, it should have option to view trajectories. like other softwares.
ideally, now a days, editing trajectory points directly is also possible in some softwares like maya and blender. that would be awesome.1 vote
This is a good idea. We will do it.
self explanatory.... i mean, its hard to believe that someone animated lamp inside this. its too perfect / finised animation.1 vote
Clara.io supports cubic animation already but it isn’t exposed via the UI. It is only supported right now if you import from FBX and Collada.
You are right that we didn’t create the animation of the lamp inside of Clara.io. The lamp animation was created in Softimage and imported into Clara.io and then tweaked. The reason for this is that Clara.io does not yet support rigging and IK. Some details of how the lamp animation was made is available here on the Softimage mailing list:
I believe will be great if clara provide more options for typology fonts1 vote
This is an excellent idea. We will add more fonts.
Add the ability to turn On and Off specular highlights from the light itself. Also the lights are not casting shadows properly and they tend to go on and off randomly without notice.2 votes
This is a good idea. We will do this. :)
Check for watertightness of models. This would be very useful for 3D printing applications.1 vote
This is required, we are doing it.
We will be adding this feature in the next few weeks.
